I've got a special treat for all of you. My source got in contact with me about the Donkey Kong Country Theme he revealed to me recently. He got his microphone and recorded the new version so we can all check it out here. The audio quality isn't the BEST, but it's very good. He decided to send me this song because it's his favorite in the game.

Edit: Members of Smash Boards have discovered this is simply an edited version of a remix found on vgmusic.com. I simply posted the file my source had supplied, only to now see the music must have been some sort of joke, haha. I can assure you everything else I have posted has been true, and the music is in the game, just not this version evidentially.
Welcome
Welcome to my blog where I will be revealing secrets of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. With the release so close, and yet delayed again, it's no surprise that gamers are anxious in finding out every tiny aspect of the game. I knew the game was going to become delayed, and upon the announcement of such on January 15th, I decided to finally make this blog and tell everyone what they deserve to know.

-Assist Trophy: Cactuar - While third parties might not fill all the fighting spots, they can still contribute things such as Assist Trophies. One of them thanks to Square-Enix is the popular Cactuar! Cactuar jumps up in the air and starts launching needles everywhere!
-Character: Animal Crossing Character - The main character of the Animal Crossing games makes an appearance! Take control of this person and use his various tools to his advantage such as his fishing rod and shovel!
-Item: Dried Shroom - You were hoping to recover a lot of HP weren't you? If the Paper Mario franchise has anything to do with it you won't, as the Dried Shroom only recovers 1%!

-Character: Bowser Jr. - You had of seen this guy in a lot of games recently, he's Bowser Jr.! He started his recent game appearances with Super Mario Sunshine, and has been appearing frequently with games like Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Strikers.
-Music: Donkey Kong Country Theme - Remember the beginning to Donkey Kong Country? Yup, the awesome theme music that plays at the very beginning before you start the game will be a playable music in Brawl, and the slight remix is quite satisfying.

SmashBoards Update
Earlier today I received a request from a SmashBoards member to comment on some information he had received, so I figured that I should post the new information I revealed here as well.
-Dr. Mario, Ness, Pichu, and Mewtwo are not playable characters in the game.
-Ridley, King K. Rool, and Sukapon are not playable characters in the game.
-Ancient Minister has nothing to do with the Master Hand.

Little later than normal tonight... I forgot to post at midnight!
-Character confirmation: Captain Falcon. Why hasn't he been confirmed yet? Who knows, but as many are sure of, Captain Falcon will be returning with pretty much the same moveset he's had in 64 and Melee, however a thing or two may be different.
-Stage: Angel Island Zone. Straight from the likes of Sonic The Hedgehog 3, players will be able to take their fight to the popular floating island to Angel Island Zone. Angel Island is a fairly standard stage except with two vertical moving platforms on the left and right side, and a rope swing that battlers can grab a hold of by jumping at it. You can not do any attacks while holding onto the ropw swing, however you can jump off at any time. Don't stay on too long as your opponent may have a chance to hit you off of it. The ground isn't completely flat as there are some slight slopes to throw off players. Also watch out for spikes, they hurt when you touch the top of them! I guess it doesn't need to be said that the Angel Island Zone music already confirmed can be played on this stage.
-Game Mode: Online Team Battles. Want to practice your teamwork but want to play with your teammate in the same room? No problem at all as you and a friend on the same Wii can go and play online with anyone or with friends while both of you are on the same Wii using one internet connection. The more people connected online means a greater chance of only play being slower, but even though you shouldn't have to worry about anything for the most part. However, it's much more fun to team with someone in the same room, especially for communicating with each other.

Hello everyone, and thank you for reading my third post here. I will try to do updates around midnight EST, but don't hold to me if I miss it haha. I hope you enjoyed yesterdays double launch update. Here is what I have for you today:
-First up on my updates is information regarding R.O.B. There have been rumors around saying that he will be a playable character. This is false, R.O.B. is not playable.
-Item: Lon Lon Milk - When a bottle of Lon Lon Milk drops on the ground from Legend of Zelda, you can pick it up and start drinking it. You start to recover health as you take each gulp, however when you are drinking it, you can not move and if you get hit, you stop drinking it and the item disappears. If you finish the bottle of milk you get the empty bottle that you can throw as an item.
-Game Mode: Importing Pictures From Melee - If you remember back to Super Smash Bros. Melee, you were able to take snapshots and save them to your memory card. One of the best parts of the Wii system is ability to use the GameCube controller ports, and now the GameCube memory card slots. You can choose to import all snapshots saved from the GameCube memory card into Brawl, so you will be able to view them with the rest of your photos, and send them to each other online.

01/15/2008 Post 2
I have been talking to the people at SmashBoards today and I decided to make a second post of updates today, sort of like as a special bonus for the start of this blog. I even asked the members what they would like to hear about, and it seems people want to hear about Assist Trophies, Character Information, and one person wanted an item update haha.
-Assist Trophy: Deku Scrub - Right out of Legend of Zelda, you might see a Deku Scrub pop up to battle! When the scrub is first summoned, he stays in the ground under his leaf, and before you know it, he will pop his head up and shoot a couple of deku nuts at a random character. The scrub will do this a couple times. There is also a chance that when a nut hits the ground (if it doesn't hit a character or fly off the stage) that it won't break, and you will be able to pick it up yourself and throw it like an item!
-Wolf O'Donnell is not a playable character, however he will show up in Brawl in some form.
-Ness is not a playable character, however he will show up in Brawl in some form.
